Principal's Report

What a great day we had at the school cross country yesterday. It was fantastic to see the effort all our students put in to achieve their personal best. A big well done to our medal winners, those who qualified for the District event, and the recipients of our 'Never Give Up' awards. Congratulations also to Green House on winning the day overall. We had a great turnout from parents who came along to cheer on the children, which is always appreciated. A huge thank you to all of our parent volunteers and the staff who helped set up, and a special shout out to Mrs Pickford for her exceptional work in organising the day.
Cultural Festival
We are looking forward to seeing everyone in their white shirts ready to be covered in colour at our Cultural Festival tomorrow night (Thursday 19th March) from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Excitement has been building around the school this week for what promises to be a great community event. Food service will begin at 5:00 pm. Please note that there will only be limited food available to purchase on the night, including lamb souvlaki rolls, vege pad thai, a sausage sizzle, and bubble tea. Colour will also be available to buy. With a big crowd expected and separate queues for the different stalls, we just ask for a little patience as our volunteers work to get everyone their food. It is shaping up to be a brilliant evening and we can’t wait to see the school covered in colour.
NAPLAN
A big well done to our Year 3 and 5 students who completed their NAPLAN assessments last week. I also want to thank our teachers for their hard work in supporting the students and making sure they were well-prepared. These assessments give us valuable information to help identify where students might need additional support or resources across the school. We look forward to sharing the results with families once they become available.
School Tours and Enrolments
Our first tours for 2027 enrolments have already started and we are seeing very positive interest in the school, with many tours already booking out! If you are aware of any local families or friends looking to enrol their children please encourage them to book a tour via the website ASAP.
For our current families I encourage you to let the office know if you have a sibling starting in 2027 and we can guide you through the application process. We also welcome you and your children to join us for the readiness sessions.
