Summer Lightning Premiership
Last Thursday all year 5 and 6 students participated in the Caulfield and District Summer Lightning premiership. A big thank you to our Year 5 & 6 staff which is always a very busy day and parent Russel Sochen for volunteering to assist with basketball. Our CSPS students displayed fantastic sportsmanship and teamwork throughout the day.
Quotes from Around the Grounds
“The whole cricket team took the bus to Caulfield Park. We played three games. We lost 2 and won one. It was a great day to play and we had fun.” Yuval 6B
“Basketball was a blast! Everyone showed amazing sportsmanship and displayed our school values. We had the best time at Waverly Stadium, and it was an experience we will remember for a long time.” Ariella & Issy 6B
“Softball was fun. My team lost most of our games, but we still had fun. The bats we used were a bit different, so it was easier to hit the ball. I got four home runs! My favourite game was probably the second one because it was the most exciting.” Sarah 6B
“We had Volleyball last Thursday at Carnegie Primary School and we had the time of our lives. We loved cheering on our other team. It was a fun day!” Stephanie 6B
