Reconciliation Celebrations

Schools across the Diocese celebrated National Sorry Day and Reconciliation Day with students, staff and  families through a number of activities from Sorry Day Liturgy , family picnics, community bridge walks, cooking, dances, assemblies, art and sport to name a few. It is a time to learn together about Aboriginal and Torres Strait histories, cultures and achievements and work together to achieve reconciliation in Australia.

NAIDOC WEEK

Schools are busy preparing for the upcoming NAIDOC WEEK.

The 2025 theme, "The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy," celebrates not only the achievements of the past but the bright future ahead, empowered by the strength of our young leaders, the vision of our communities, and the legacy of our ancestors.

This NAIDOC WEEK marks a milestone of 50 years of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders voices, cultures and resilience.

We look forward to our school communities celebrating this important event.
