Call health direct campaign – campaign resources found here
NSW Health is pleased to share with you the new call health direct Campaign toolkit. The campaign aims to promote the health direct number as the first step to access health advice, care and treatment for non-life threatening conditions.
When you call health direct, you’ll speak to a registered nurse who will help you get the care you need. They can find you a nearby doctor, pharmacist, urgent care service, or even connect you to specialist virtual care. We’re encouraging people to save this number, 1800 022 222, for free, easy access to health advice and care whenever they need it.

ACS Primary Touch Trials
We had almost 100 students travel to Glen Innes last week for our Touch trials. Our students were lucky enough to meet Australian Touch player and McCarthy Catholic College teacher, Steph Halpin, who ran through some skills and drills with the children. Needless to say the kids LOVED it.
The day ran very smoothly thanks to Convenor Jackie Barratt and we have never been treated so well from the St Joseph's School Glen Innes P & F, what a spread at the canteen!!
The referees supplied from Glen Innes High School were superb, and it was a great facility, thanks to Glen Innes Severn Council

ACS Gary McSweeney Memorial Cup
We were blessed with more reason than one on Friday 30th May, 2025 at our annual Gary McSweeney Memorial Cup. We had beautiful weather, fantastic Rugby talent and honouring a man we are so grateful to call our friend and mentor, Gary McSweeney.
It was an absolute privilege to be able to organise a day in Gary’s honour. All students played so well and embraced the opportunity to be active in the sunshine. Gary was always a huge advocate for kids sport, at every level, and I know he would be been so proud to have today in his honour.
A HUGE congratulations to St Edward’s Tamworth for winning the Gary McSweeney Cup, a fantastic effort all day from the boys.
