As we wrap up Week 4, it’s clear that 2026 has started with great momentum. It’s been a busy and positive start to the year, and it’s wonderful to see students settling into routines and embracing College life.
This long weekend is the perfect chance for both students and staff to rest, recharge, and reset before we continue into the rest of the term. If you’re travelling, stay safe. If you’re staying home and catching up on chores, enjoy the downtime and make the most of it.
Our Annual Swimming Carnival last Wednesday was once again a highlight on the calendar. A huge thank you to our amazing staff, whose organisation and enthusiasm made sure the day ran smoothly. Every student contributed to the fantastic atmosphere — whether competing, cheering for their faction, or adding colour and fun with some truly amusing costume choices.
Events like this are a great opportunity for students to connect outside the classroom in a fun, supportive, and inclusive way. Days like these help students build relationships and feel part of something bigger than themselves. It was clear how much this meant to many of them, and those who were absent really missed out.
The traditional Staff vs Students relay was a crowd favourite and came almost neck‑and‑neck, sparking plenty of laughter and cheers from the sidelines.

Enjoy your weekend.
