Principal's Report

Dear Families,

This term has gone very quickly, and I have enjoyed meeting and learning with our students, families and staff.

Some highlights this term were the School Concert, Book Week Dress Up Day and the Foundation Grandparents Day. It is always nice to see families involved in school events and students love the opportunities to share their learning with family and friends.

Last night, I attended the Rota Kids Presentation Dinner at the Ballarat Golf Club with Mrs Carey, Mrs Macdonald, Mrs Coulter and Mrs McLean. Our Rota Kids have worked with mentors from Ballarat South Rotary Club, to raise money for youth mental health and Uniting Care to put together hygiene packs to support people in the local community. I was very impressed by their public speaking and care and support for people in our community. Our Rota Kids demonstrated their ability to lead, collaborate and work together. They certainly demonstrate our school values of Care, Respect, Excellence and Community. Thanks to Mrs McLean for organising this valuable program which commenced in 2018 at our school.

I am looking forward to next term at Ballarat North Primary!

Have an enjoyable and safe holiday break!
