Have Your Say - Better Streets Project

The City of Hobart is working on a project to improve walking, cycling, public transport and to make streetscapes more beautiful. Called a Better Streets project, it has two focus areas:

  • Upper Elizabeth Street - between Federal Street and Augusta Road.
  • Augusta Road - between Elizabeth Street and Greenway Avenue.

The project is currently in Stage 1 engagement, which focuses on:

  • sharing information about the project and past planning work
  • highlighting previous engagement and Council decisions
  • listening to community views, concerns and priorities
  • gathering feedback to help guide any future concept development

Friends' parents and staff are encouraged to share their views by:

  • completing the online survey
  • registering for an online or in‑person information session with the project team
  • sharing what you love about your community through a creative picture or short story.

You can find more details and information about the project on the Better Streets page on Your Say Hobart.
