Ringwood North District Cross Country
On Tuesday 19th May, 60 students represented Kalinda Primary School at the District Cross Country event held at Quambee Reserve. These students earned the opportunity to compete after their strong performances at Kalinda’s House Cross Country.
The course was challenging, steep hills and uneven terrain. Students in the 9/10-year-old age group completed a 2km course, while the 11-year-old and 12/13-year-old students ran 3km. Despite the wet and cold conditions, all students applied great effort and tried their absolute best throughout the day.
Congratulations to the following students who achieved outstanding results at the event and have now qualified for the next level of competition at Division Cross Country:
Emmet G – 7th place
Eddie P – 10th place
Ryder D – 1st place
Zac M – 9th place
Ashton P – 12th place
We wish these students the very best of luck with their preparations and upcoming Division event.
Well done again to all students who represented Kalinda Primary School with great determination, resilience and sportsmanship.
