Important Notices for Parents
Bathroom use
Parents and caregivers are kindly reminded that student toilets are for student use only and must not be used by adults at any time. All visitors are required to use the designated adult toilets located near the staff room. This helps ensure the safety, privacy, and wellbeing of all students. If you are unsure of the location of the adult bathrooms, please check with the front office staff and they will be happy to assist you.
Early departure of students
To support effective organisation and to respect teachers’ time and classroom routines, when possible, parents and caregivers are asked to provide at least one day’s notice for early collection of students. Advance notice allows staff to ensure your child is prepared and ready for collection without disrupting learning activities.
We appreciate your cooperation with the above in helping to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
Thank you.
A Message Regarding the Dads and Kids Camp
The following is a message from the Camp Committee:
"At this stage, we’re still planning to go ahead, despite the forecast looking a bit wet. The ground is currently quite dry, so we’re expecting it to hold up reasonably well even with some rain.
We’ve had rainy camps before, and while it can get a little muddy, it’s all part of the adventure and experience! We’ll continue to monitor the weather and let everyone know if anything changes, but for now it’s full steam ahead."

Save the Date - Our school community will be wearing yellow on Thursday the 28th of May for a gold coin donation. 'Wear it Yellow' is a fundraising campaign for First Nations children and families, held during National Reconciliation Week, 27th May to 3rd June 2026. It's a way for schools and organisations to support Children’s Ground and learn more about First Nations history and culture during National Reconciliation Week.
