PRIMARY SCHOOLS CHESS COMPETITION 2026

Congratulations to the 16 students who attended the Primary Schools Chess Competition at East Tamworth Primary yesterday. The competition featured 12 schools, 26 teams with a total of 104 students, from our region.

7 rounds of high intensity chess was played throughout the day.

At the conclusion of the day St Nicholas Red team were deemed the overall winners: Hudson Pearson, Felix Rodda, Max Hodges and Connor Smith.

Thankyou to Connor who filled in at the 11th hour for Kaitlyn.

All of the students represented themselves and their school admirably.
