Dear Families,
Congratulations to our Middle and Senior students and staff for the wonderful way they have navigated the past two weeks of our swimming program.
The program requires a great deal of organisation, including adjustments to rosters and timetables, and everyone has embraced these changes with flexibility and a positive attitude. While many of our students are undoubtedly feeling a little tired after such a busy fortnight, they have represented our school with pride, demonstrated excellent behaviour, and participated with enthusiasm.
Thank you to our staff for their support and commitment in ensuring the program ran smoothly, and well done to all students for their outstanding efforts both in and out of the pool.
Our F - 2 students will begin their program next week. I know there are some anxious parents worrying about how they can support their children in readiness for this. Here are a few tips that will help the swimming sessions run a little smoother:
Book Week 2026
We're looking forward to our annual Book Week celebrations next week. Our Book Fair will be open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and this year we have a new company sharing a range of books to choose from. One thing hasn't changed - every purchase our community makes, we get rewarded for. 20% of the sales can be used by the school to purchase new books for our library.
Book Character Day is on Wednesday as well as the Foundation celebration of Milo's Birthday Surprise and our Grandparents Day Prayer Service.
We can't wait to share next week with our families!

Save the Date
Father's Day Breakfast is coming up, lock Friday 4th September in on your calendars and keep an eye out for a notification via PAM.

Enrolments 2027
Foundation enrolments for 2027 have now closed. Families who still wish to enrol their child are welcome to submit an Expression of Interest; however, please note that a waitlist is currently in operation.
Limited places are available in Grades 1 to 6 for 2027. Families seeking enrolment in these year levels are encouraged to contact the school office or complete an online enrolment application.
For further information, please contact the school office.
Acting Principal
I would like to advise families that I will be taking leave from Monday 31 August until Monday 12 October. During this time, Emma Davies will undertake the role of Acting Principal, ensuring the continued day-to-day leadership and operation of the school. I am confident the school will be in excellent hands and thank Emma for her willingness to take on this responsibility.
Congratulations
Please join me in congratulating Caitlin Marino, who graduated from the University of Melbourne last week after successfully completing her Master of Evidence-Based Teaching. This was made even more special by the fact that one of our former teachers, Danielle Phillips, also graduated at the same ceremony.

Kind Regards,
Felicity Broughton
