Wicked

On Wednesday, 3rd December, 2025 students in the Drama Club and Choir performed three shows of their version of Wicked. For the first time this year, we were able to have a 5:30pm show for families to attend. 

Our actors, with the help of Mrs Beard and Miss Huynh, have been working hard all year on a collaboratively devised script while our crew and design team, with the help of Miss Khandkar and Miss Lim, have been making props, backdrops and organising the stage. The choir, under the guidance of Miss El Khoury rehearsed two songs from the musical WICKED and sounded beautiful!

The actors and stage crew were nervous right before the first show at 10:30am but they had nothing to worry about. The Preschool to Year 3 audience was enthralled during the performance! After a quick break, the students performed again for Year 4 to Year 6. It was another great performance.

Students came back to school at 5pm and were filled with excitement as we got ready for the 5:30pm show. 

As soon as our final show started, it was easy to tell that it was going to be our best performance yet. The audience loved the show and we were all so proud of our hard work. 

Congratulations to all our Drama Club and Choir members for 2025. Wicked was a huge success. I wonder what show we will choose for 2026?
