Dear St Johns Park Public School Community,
As we come to the close of another remarkable school year, I want to take a moment to reflect on all that we have achieved together and to thank every member of our school community—students, staff, and families—for their continued dedication and support.
Celebrating Our Achievements
This year has been filled with wonderful accomplishments. Our students have demonstrated outstanding growth academically, socially, and creatively. Highlights include:
Our school being named in the top 20 schools in NSW making a difference in NAPLAN
2 students winning their stage competition in Public Speaking at a network level
Debating team becoming zone champions in the Premier’s Debating Competition
5 sporting teams were Horsley Zone champions and Boys Basketball won the regional competition and represented our school in the State competition
Choir performing at the network performance evening
Drama club performance evening
Recognition for innovative transition programs for preschool children and Junior Leaders.
I am incredibly proud of how our students have embraced learning with enthusiasm and resilience.
Thank You to Our Staff and Families
The commitment and passion of our teachers and support staff have been instrumental in fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. I also want to extend heartfelt thanks to you, our parents and carers, for your unwavering support and partnership throughout the year. Together, we make a strong community that supports every child’s success.
Looking Ahead
As we look towards the new year, we are excited about the opportunities and challenges ahead. We will continue to focus on student engagement and learning growth, collaboration, effective classroom practice, personalised learning and wellbeing. Let’s work together to make 2026 another fantastic year of growth and achievement.
Wishing You a Safe and Happy Holiday Season
On behalf of the entire staff at St Johns Park Public School, I wish you and your families a restful and joyful holiday season. We look forward to welcoming all our students back refreshed and ready for the new school year on Monday 2 February 2026!
Warm regards,
