Kindergarten Excursion

On Thursday our Kindergarten students enjoyed a wonderful excursion to Sydney Zoo. Excitement began the moment students stepped onto the bus, so thrilled for the ride as much as the adventure ahead.
Once at the zoo, the children were so excited to see a wide range of animals up close. The lions and giraffes were definite favourites, especially as students have been learning about these animals during class.
A highlight of the day was a special guided tour led by the zookeepers. Students learnt fascinating facts about a range of African animals and were even lucky enough to pat a blue-tongue lizard and a snake!
Despite the very warm weather, our Kindergarten students were exceptionally well-behaved and represented our school with pride. A big thank you to all the parent helpers who supported us on the day — your assistance made the excursion a great success.
