Year 4 - 6 Winter Sports

Our Year 4, 5 and 6 students recently represented King's with enthusiasm and pride at the Winter Sports competition. Students competed in AFL, netball and soccer, demonstrating teamwork, determination and resilience throughout the day.

This year marked an exciting milestone for King's, with our school fielding an AFL team for the very first time. A big thank you to Mr Tomkins and Mr Leach for coaching and supporting our AFL players. We also extend our appreciation to Mrs Bond and Mrs Newton, who coached our girls' and mixed netball teams, and to Mr Lim and Sam Wicks for their dedication in coaching our boys' and girls' soccer teams.

Adding to the excitement of the day, our soccer players proudly took to the field wearing King's new soccer uniforms for the first time. The students looked fantastic and represented our school with great pride.

Congratulations to all students for the outstanding sportsmanship they displayed both on and off the field. They represented King's with respect, encouragement and a positive attitude, making us incredibly proud.

A special congratulations goes to our boys' soccer team, who progressed through to the Division Soccer competition. We wish them all the very best as they continue to represent King's at the next level. Well done to everyone involved in making the day such a success!

Junior School Boys Division Soccer

Our Junior School boys represented the school with great enthusiasm and determination at the Division Soccer competition on Friday 12th June.

Throughout the day, the team displayed excellent sportsmanship, teamwork, and resilience against strong opposition. There were some outstanding moments on the field, including several impressive goal saves from our defenders and goalkeeper, along with some well-earned goals that showcased the boys’ skill and persistence. Every player contributed positively to the team’s efforts, and they should be proud of the way they represented our school.

A special thank you goes to Mr Jellie for coaching and supporting the team throughout the day. His encouragement and guidance were greatly appreciated and helped make the experience a positive one for all involved. Well done to all the boys on a fantastic effort!
