Lantern Festival

Belgrave Lantern Festival - 20th June 2026

We are delighted to share that Menzies Creek Primary School will be part of this year’s Belgrave Lantern Festival. It is a wonderful community event being held on Saturday 20th June in Belgrave, and we are very excited to be involved.

On the day, you’ll find us at our Menzies Creek Primary School stall (Stall 58), where we will be making badges with the community and sharing enrolment bags for school-aged children. It’s a fantastic opportunity to showcase our school and connect with others in the Hills. We warmly invite families to join us at the stall across the afternoon and evening. Your support in helping with badge making and promoting our school would be greatly appreciated. Students are very welcome to assist alongside a parent or carer, and we kindly ask that they wear their school jumper.

We are also proud to be marching in the parade. Our students have been busy creating lanterns during Care Groups, which will be sent home next week ready for the event. The parade begins as the sun goes down - which is approximately 5:30 pm. We don't anticipate the stall to be busy at this time.
