Jazz & Blues Show

On Sunday 31st May our student musicians took to the stage at The Ballarat Jazz Club to present a wide range of jazz and blues music with an improvisation focus.

The full house at the Ballarat Golf Club venue were treated to an afternoon of collaborative and creative student music making in a professional environment, backed by our house band comprised entirely of BHS staff.

At the conclusion of the event we very gratefully accepted a cheque for $1,000 and we are so very thankful for the support, encouragement and opportunities that the Ballarat Jazz Club provides.

Many thanks also to the BHS staff who so willingly gave up their time in both rehearsals and for the two and a half hour show.
