Principal's update
Hello everyone,
Here is the school newsletter for week ten of term four.
We have one more week of school to go until the summer holidays.
Today with thanks to the Parents and Friends Group we have a whole school end of year celebration picnic at the Mineral Springs Reserve today.
Next Friday the 19th of December is the final day of school, dismissal will be at 1:00pm

Semester two reports
The plan was to publish student reports today via Compass. However, Compass has reported there has been couple of possible problems with data synching between them and the DoE. I will now publish the reports on Monday, if you notice an error or what looks like it might be an error in a report, please contact me or the class teacher for us to investigate. Likewise, if you would like to talk to the class teacher about your child's report, please contact them.
OSH care in 2026
Our current OSH provider OSHClub will be concluding their contract at Taradale PS at the end of this term. We are currently finalising a contract with a new provider that works with a number of schools in the region. Please be assured that Taradale PS will continue to offer an OSHC service in 2026. We will share more information about the new provider once the DoE has signed off on the contract.
Year 6 graduation
We will hold our year 6 graduation on Monday the 15th of December at 11.30am at the Taradale Hall. Everyone is invited to join us as we formally farewell our graduating year six students.
This will be followed by a graduation dinner and party at the school from 5.30 - 8.30 for the grade 6 students. If any parents would like to help our cook Chris prepare the grauation dinner, please contact the school.
Transition session for 2026 prep students -
Our final prep transtion session is next Tuesday 9.00-1.15. It has been wonderful to see the new students get to know each other and their soon to be year one classmates as they familiarise themselves with the school.
Last day of term
The last day of term and the school year is Friday 19 December, dismissal will be at 1.00pm.
2026 enrolments - all year levels
If you know of anyone who is interested in enroling at Taradale for 2026, please ask them to contact me.
We are nearing our enrolment capacity, but with a larger than usual year 6 cohort leaving at the end of the year, next year we expect to be under the capacity and welcome enrolment enquiries from near and far - including people from outside the school zone.
