Public Speaking Competition

 Donald High School, 24th June.

 Periods 4 & 5 (11:30 to 1:00)

Donald High School is gearing up for its annual Public Speaking Competition, set to take place on Tuesday, 24th June during Periods 4 and 5. Held in the room 9, the event will showcase the speaking skills, passion, and critical thinking of our students.

Participants from various year levels will take to the stage to argue their case on topics in junior, intermediate and senior categories. With persuasive power and personal flair, each speaker will aim to sway the audience and judges alike.

Don’t miss the chance to witness the power of words in action!

VET TASTER DAY

Tomorrow is the VET Taster Day at NCTTC, our Year 9 students will be in attending, they will also attend TAFE again on the Friday.  They can wear suitable casual clothing but are remaindered that the stadium can be quite cold so to rug up.  They must however wear sturdy covered shoes. The canteen will be open at both recess and lunchtime but is cash only.  A free BBQ lunch will be provided but students will need to bring their own drinker.  Any special dietary requirements will need to be self-catered.

Year 10 and VM students will not be required to attend school tomorrow however, Year 11 VCE students need to attend school for classes in preparation for exams next week.

School Drama Production - The Wizard of OZstralia

Our drama students have been working very hard getting ready to WOW you in their upcoming production 'The Wizard of OZstralia'. After countless lunch times practicing lines, spending time creating some amazing props in the art room, and rehearsing after school, we cannot wait to perform for you! Make sure you come along and support their amazing effort! 

Late Arrivals and Early Departures

Students arriving late MUST sign in at the office when they arrive at school - please put your full name and reason for late arrival in the book.

Students leaving early MUST have a note and MUST sign out at the office prior to departing.
