On Thursday, March 13 the Digital Learning Leaders headed to the Melbourne F1 Grand Prix. Students boarded a mini bus and were able to watch some of the support vehicle events, including the V8 Supercars and Porsche Carrera Cup, and saw some cutting edge technologies on display in the STEM Innovation Hub, including Victoria's first electric Fire Truck. Some students participated in a F1 simulation and were able to hop in and explore vehicles. The students enjoyed being able to be immersed in a huge international event, using their BYOD iPads to capture and share some of the highlights with their peers.
