Junior Sports Day

We are very excited to have our new date for the Junior sports day. It will be on Tuesday 27 August. This is a great fun day for our juniors and we welcome parents and carers to come along for the fun. The students will move around the different rotations and have a chance to have a go at the different events on offer. Please keep a look out on class dojo for the program coming out shortly.

Oceanic Track and Field

Last week our track and field athletes travelled to Runaway Bay sporting complex for the District athletics carnival. Our students did an amazing job on the day with amazing displays of perseverance, resilience and sportsmanship. Congratulations to the following students who will be heading to the South Coast carnival after some great performances on the day.

Smith - 2nd in discus and shotput

Eva - 1st in 1500m and 1st in 800m

Jaxen - 2nd in 100m and 200m

Ellsie - 3rd in 1500m

Good luck to these students at the South Coast carnival in the coming weeks.

Flag Football

Unfortunately, the rain has postponed our Flag football tournament, but it has been rescheduled for next Friday 23 August. This will give Mr Baker and the team another week of training for this great day.
