Netball Regional Finals
Congratulations to our 2 Netball Teams as they head off to Tamworth this week for the Netball NSW Regional Finals! Our Primary 5/6 and Secondary 7/8 Teams were victorious earlier in the term at the local Gala Days and have won the right to progress through.
Competing at the regional level is a well-deserved reward for all their hard work and training sessions.
We are incredibly proud of the players and coaches for reaching this stage. Please join us in wishing the team the absolute best of luck as they represent our school community at this level.
Polding and NSWCCC Athletics
This Friday, an incredible 17 students have qualified to travel to Glendale to compete at the Polding Athletics Championships.
Looking ahead to Week 9, four secondary students will travel to Sydney for the NSWCCC Athletics. Best of luck to all these athletes as they represent our school at the higher levels!
ACS Primary Soccer and Netball Gala Days
A reminder that in Week 9, the ACS Primary Netball and Soccer Gala Days will take place right here in Inverell at the Complex on Friday. Please note the following key details for families:
- Compass Permission: All participating students must have parental permission completed on Compass prior to the event.
- Morning Arrival: Students need to make their own way to the Complex and meet their teachers by 8:45am.
- Afternoon Return: Buses will transport students back to school by 2:30pm for a standard end-of-day dismissal.
- Non-Competitors: Students not participating in the Gala Days will attend normal classes at school.
- Equipment: Students will need to pack all necessary equipment for their sport, as well as plenty of water and food for the day. We also recommend students wear sunscreen throughout the day.
