Times Tables Rock Stars Competition - OzRocks

Dear Families,

We are excited to let you know that Wollert Primary School is taking part in a fun Times Tables Rock Stars competition against schools from across Australia!

Students from Grade 2 to Grade 6 have been automatically enrolled in the competition. Students do not have to participate. However, every class that takes part will have the chance to win a prize!

The competition will run from: 

8:00am Tuesday 1st September

to

6:00pm Thursday 3rd September 2026.

Students can play online at play.ttrockstars.com. Every correct multiplication or division answer earns points for the student, their class and our school.

30-minute limit

Students can earn competition points for up to 30 minutes each day.

After 30 minutes, they can keep playing if they wish, but their answers will no longer count towards the competition.

How can you help?

Please encourage your child to have a go and practise their times tables. 

Please don't play for them.

Most importantly, we want students to have fun and enjoy practising their maths. There is no need to change family plans or create any stress around the competition.

Maths Challenge

A huge congratulations to all of our students who have been enthusiastically engaging with the Maths Challenges! It has been fantastic to see students challenging themselves, sharing their thinking and developing their confidence in Mathematics. We are excited to introduce our Week 7 Maths Challenges and encourage everyone to have a go, persevere and see how far their mathematical thinking can take them!
