2027 Parents' Association Executive

Would you like to be part of our PA Executive in 2027?

We are looking for parents and carers who would like to join our Parents Association Executive Team for 2027.

Next year, there are opportunities across all roles — President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary.

We know family life is busy, so each of these roles can also be shared between two people, making it a great opportunity to get involved alongside a friend or another parent.

Being part of the PA Executive is a wonderful way to give back, build connections, strengthen our school community and support fundraising that benefits all our children.

If you are interested, would like to find out more, or are simply considering whether a role might suit you, please call or email Sarah 0402856734 sacredheartpa3101@gmail.com

Potential members of PA Executive need to be nominated by existing PA Executive, so if you would like to be part of the team please speak to us before the AGM on Tuesday 24th November.

We’d love to hear from you!

🎉 SACRED HEART FUNDRAISING UPDATE! 🎉

Exciting news, Sacred Heart community! ❤️

Thanks to all of our amazing fundraising events, generous donations and incredible contributions from our community, we are thrilled to announce that we can now begin bringing our Master Plan for Sensory, Imaginative and Quiet Play Spaces to life! 🌿🪵✨

The PA recently met with Ed and Danielle, and together we have developed an exciting three-stage plan to create engaging spaces for our children to explore, imagine, create, connect and enjoy.

🌱 STAGE 1 - Sensory & Imaginative Play

We’re kicking things off with:

🪵 A Large Mud Kitchen

A fantastic 2.4m school safety-approved mud kitchen has been ordered, with installation hopefully taking place by Week 4 of Term 4!

Tuckshop

A reminder that parents please do not purchase or give "free" tuck shop items to other children unless permission has been given by their parent or guardian.

While we appreciate that this is often done with the best of intentions, there are a few important reasons for this:

  • Some children may have food allergies, intolerances or other dietary requirements that may not be known to other parents or children.
  • Families may have their own preferences or rules around particular foods and drinks, which we would like to respect.
  • Giving free items to some children but not others can unintentionally result in children feeling left out or excluded.
  • It also avoids placing children in the difficult position of deciding whether they are allowed to accept something offered to them.
  •

We want the tuck shop to remain a fun and inclusive part of school activities, while also respecting the choices of each family and keeping all children safe.

Thank you for your understanding and for helping us keep things fair, safe and enjoyable for everyone.

Second Hand Uniform Shop

The Second Hand Uniform Shop was open last Wednesday 2 September (8:30-9:15am). It will be open again next term. Dates to be advised.

The Second-Hand Uniform Shop is located in the School Hall. A reminder that payment is made by EFT only. A big thank you to Timeke Plymin (Thomas Prep LC) for organising the Second-Hand Uniform Shop this term.

Our student-designed Sacred Heart aprons are now available to purchase! The designs were created by our talented students as part of last year’s competition, and we are excited to finally have them ready for families.

Aprons purchased will be distributed to students through their class baskets. All funds raised will go towards developing our Sensory and Imaginary Play Space for students.

Please click the link to purchase your apron and support this wonderful initiative. https://www.trybooking.com/events/landing/1547712
