Volleyball Victoria Championships

An outstanding achievement for Eltham High School - we have once again proven ourselves a powerhouse in Victorian school volleyball, delivering an incredible haul of medals at the recent Volleyball Victoria Schools Championships. Our students’ skill, determination and teamwork shone through over several days of high-level competition, and the results speak for themselves.

Across the Honours divisions, Eltham High School secured: 

• 2 × Gold Medals – Open Girls, Year 11 Girls

• 2 × Silver Medals – Year 10 Girls, Year 8 Boys

• 3 × Bronze Medals – Year 10 Girls, Year 9 Girls, Year 9 Boys

In the Divisional competitions, we added to our success with:

• Silver Medal - Year 12 Boys

• Gold Medal - Year 7 Boys

• Silver Medal - Year 7 Girls

This exceptional collective effort saw Eltham High School crowned Champion Girls School, a remarkable recognition of the talent and dedication of our female athletes. In the overall Champion School tally, Eltham High School finished second by just one point — an achievement that reflects our consistency and strength across all year levels and divisions. With 19 teams entered this is a medal success rate of over 50%.

We are immensely proud of every player, coach, and support staff member who contributed to these results. The hard work, sportsmanship, and school spirit on display were second to none, and we thank all families for their ongoing support of our volleyball program.  Congratulations to all involved — what a fantastic way to conclude the Championships.
