Final Week for Year 12s

While our ATAR students return next term for WACE prep, this week marks the end of 13+ years of schooling for many Year 12s. We celebrated with a Farewell Dinner in Northam and a whole-school breakfast on Wednesday. Congratulations to all students and staff for a smooth finish. We look forward to formally recognising your achievements at the Valedictory Ceremony on Friday, 14 November.

Food, Fibre & Timber Industries Training Council (FFTITC) AgriSkills Forum

Last week’s FFTITC AgriSkills Forum was a great success, bringing together stakeholders to discuss workforce development and the potential Agricultural Trades pathway. We remain committed to industry engagement to meet current and future needs.

Student Leadership Initiatives

We’re expanding student leadership opportunities in 2026, with new roles including Dorm Captains and Sport Captains.

This year saw strong interest in our 2026 leadership roles:

  • 18 applicants for 8 Student Council positions

  • 7 for 2 Sport Captain roles

  • 17 for 5 Dorm Captain spots

All applicants will attend a fully funded 3-day leadership camp with Growth Hunting in Perth. Sport and Dorm Captains will be selected after this camp.

Year 11 End of Year Event Changes

Instead of holding a Year 11 Ceremony on the last day of term, we’ll host a Scholarships Afternoon Tea on their final day, inviting recipients, parents, and donors.
