                    GV Water -  Don’t Flush It competition

Well done to Logan, Jack and Stasiya who were shortlisted for their categories in the recent Goulburn Valley Water “Don’t Flush It” competition. 

Students designed and created a toilet roll artwork with the message of what can be flushed down the toilet to keep the waterways clear and unclogged.

Well done!

 Sacred Heart Athletics Day

Wow!

What a fantastic day it was for the Sacred Heart Athletics Day. Well done to everyone on their best efforts, support, encouragement, and enjoyment on the day. There were so many personal bests which is what the day is all about. 

The day was a great introduction to the F-2 students on what Athletics is all about and a perfect warm up for the 3-6s for the Interschool Sports. 

The Marching Trophy went to McAuley. 

The PBIS trophy went to Geary. 

The overall house points winner (one of the closest results for a long time) was McAuley. 

Thank you to all the staff, parents and friends who helped out on the day. An extra thanks to Andrew Whitford and Michael Reid who helped mark lines and set up equipment on the Thursday night. Your help and support with these events is greatly appreciated. 

3-6 Interschool Athletics

Students from 3-6 recently competed at Howley Oval in the Interschool Athletics with Tatura Primary and Toolamba Primary. 

As with the school sports, it was another great day of best efforts, support, and personal bests. 

Well done to everyone on their efforts on this day.

A number of students have qualified for the Division Athletics in Shepparton early term 4. Permission forms for this will be sent out during the week. 

Team Vic Trials Cricket

An amazing achievement from Harry who has been selected as an emergency for Team Victoria for Cricket.

Harry has progressed through a number of stages and trials and was selected out of 600 students to get to this final stage. 

Well done and congratulations on this achievement Harry!

URGENT  - Carpark Safety Reminder

Please remember when using the parish carpark:

1 - Reverse into parking bays.

2 - Exit Car  - please collect your child from grass area in front of St Mary's Hall 

      (students should not meet you in the car)

3 - Parents - Always monitor children in the car park area.

4 - When leaving the school with your children please exit promptly from the carpark

     (It is a hazardous place for children to play if you are talking with another parent)

5 - Please exit car park slowly and cautiously keeping watch for children.

Volunteers

At Sacred Heart we value the support of volunteers. Over your child/ren’s journey through Primary School there are many opportunities to volunteer and support your child and the school. Please visit the volunteer page on the school website for further information.

Lunch Orders

Tatura Hot Bread Bakery will be providing the School lunch orders for two days a week. Lunch orders will be available Thursdays and Fridays. Please find below the 2025 price list. 

A reminder orders are to be done through the School, not to be dropped off at the Bakery.

Second Hand Uniform Sales

Sacred Heart will now only be accepting second hand uniform items as a donation to the school. If families wish to sell items we request that this is done privately. Please see below the current uniform stock available for purchase. If you wish to have a browse of the uniforms or make a purchase, please see Ros in the school office on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Is your child missing their School Windcheater?

We currently have many named jumpers in our lost property. Pop into the office to collect.
