Principal's Report
Tim Furphy, Principal
We've made it to the second last week of Term Three. A busy one with Grades 2-6 swimming and F/1 off on thier excursion. From all reports, the excursion was a hit! I heard plenty of feedback about the giant slide, both good and bad!
Last week we had our fathers, grandfathers, uncles and special people in our lives come to visit for our Fathers Day afternoon. We had a huge turnout for a BBQ (cooked by our student leaders), and the weather was extermely kind to us allowing plenty of play in the sunshine. Thankyou to everyone who came along, it was so great to see you all enjoying yourselves.
We finish the term next week at 2:30pm, with an assembly at 2:00pm. While I will be away the last couple of days of this term, I know our students will be well celebrated!
PARENT OPINION SURVEY
The Parent/Caregiver/Guardian Opinion Survey is open for you to complete. This is a valuable tool for us to monitor community feedback and look for areas of improvement across our school. We encourage all families to complete it, please help us by providing your valuable insight. Please see Compass for login details.
SUNSMART - THE TIME FOR HATS ARE BACK
A reminder from this week onwards ALL students will be required to have their hat when outside. Students without hats will be asked to sit in a sheltered play area.
ASSEMBLY
We want to keep sharing the great things happening around our school. Assembly is a great chance for you to come and hear about these things, celebrate the kids achievements and have a bit of a chat to other families. Our next assembly will be Friday on the 19th of September (on the last day of term) at 2:00pm . ALL FAMILIES are welcome and encouraged to come along.
