Standard 5: “Equity is upheld and diverse needs respected in policy and practice.’’

At St Anthony's we have a moral, mission-driven and legal responsibility to uphold and actively promote the wellbeing and safety of every student entrusted in our care. Our commitment to the protection of children and young people is grounded in fairness, inclusion, and respect for diversity, ensuring every child is treated with dignity and care.

Standard 6: ‘’People working with children and young people are suitable and supported to reflect child safety and wellbeing values in practice.’’

At St Anthony's we offer regular induction, supervision and professional learning, so staff and volunteers understand their child safety responsibilities, and feel confident to act. We encourage staff to raise concerns early, respond to issues appropriately and understand safeguarding is a shared responsibility across the school community.
