Eltham East Child Safe Statement of Commitment

Eltham East Primary School is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people. This is always our primary focus of our care and decision-making and we have zero tolerance for child abuse.

As a school we warmly welcome, respect and embrace all our community members and rich diversity of beliefs, cultural backgrounds, abilities, gender identities and family structures. We value and appreciate the contributions that all people make to our community and have an ongoing commitment to the continued evolution of our inclusive practices throughout our school.

Acknowledgement of Country

The staff and students at Eltham East acknowledge and pay our respect to the elders past, present and emerging of the Wurundjeri people who are the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we are learning together and growing as a safe, respectful community.
