Music House Competition

 This year we will have our very first Music House Competition that will be held on Friday 4th April (last day of Term 1). We would love for as many people as possible (staff and students) to participate. Those taking part will work within their house groups (Chang, Cowan, Freeman, Patterson) to rehearse musical performances in instrumental groups, singing groups, solos and duets, the possibilities are endless (almost!).  As we want the performances to be as polished as possible, we will be starting rehearsals in week 3. This means that you have to sign up before Friday 7th February 

(Entries have now been extended until the 14th of February)

There will be a meeting held during lunchtime on Monday 10th February for all those who have signed up, to answer any questions and for you to meet your fellow house participants. If you are unsure about whether or not you'd like to take part, sign up anyway and we can discuss it further during this meeting. 

The Year 12 Captains will be there to support each house, help organise the performance groups and work with you to ensure that you are looking and sounding your best by the end of term. It will be a great opportunity to work with students from different year levels and be one of the first to perform on our new stage in the Hall. 

Don't worry if performing isn't your thing as you will still get to be involved. After the performances on April 4th, the audience will be invited to cast their vote for their favourite acts. House points are up for grabs for the top performances and everyone who participates will also get house points.

Music House Competition 2025

This will be our first ever Music House Competition and we are all very excited for it to go as well as possible. Student leaders will be running house group rehearsals from Week 4 during lunchtime...
