A Word from the Principal

Ms Kylie Campbell

A Warm Welcome to our Weeden Heights Community

Well I hope everyone enjoyed our biannual school production.  It was incredible!  Once again a big thank you to Mrs Lee who put in an incredible amount of time in with writing, dancing, designing costumes, making props, finding music, mixing the music and making the digital backdrops.  Wow!  Thanks to the staff who were constantly rehearsing and a great support to Anne.  The fantastic album cover posters were the work of our graphic artist, Delphine.  They were incredible and looked effective on the night.  A special thanks to Anne's husband, Mr Lee who gave up a days work to do all of our technical work with the backdrops and also her daughter Maya who choreographed all of the dances.  Thanks to our parent team who were given a box of chocolates on the night as a tiny appreciation of your time, effort and enthusiasm.  Thanks Erin, Abby, Wei,  Bhagya and Charlie's family (but I did hear a rumour that Charlie actually made the fridge)!

There were so many positive comments which we appreciate.  They have all been passed onto the students as well.  Here are some from Facebook...

Don't forget it's an assembly at around 2.10pm tomorrow with a 2.30pm finish.  If you can not pick up your child at that time then please book a spot in OSHC.

I'm looking forward to term 4 and we are looking at moving the office into the new space in November.  The school review will occur during November and December and we have so much to celebrate... love this school!

Please have a safe and happy holiday break.  Fingers crossed for some amazing weather. Thanks so much for all of your ongoing support.  We truly have the most amazing school.

Happy term break,

Kylie
