Year 6 PYPX

On Friday the 24th of July, Year 6 had an incursion for PYPX. 

You might be asking, what is PYPX? It is a big project Year 6 students do for 6 weeks on an issue in the world. Our guest speaker was Martin, and he was there from FISU, an international sporting body for University Students. Martin got to answer some of Year Six’s burning questions about their respective topics. He brought some chickens and got some student volunteers to help wash them. 

Martin knew a lot about sport, and answered questions for people on topics/issues such as inequality in sport, accessibility to sport and racism. The Year Six students were very grateful for his visit, and liked how he kept things engaging, interesting and fun (while still being educational)!
