Enterprise Bargaining Agreement Update

Our first meeting of 2026 with the Department took place last week and provided a valuable opportunity to progress discussion on our Log of Claims. A brief snapshot is outlined below.

This represents a significant moment to advocate for improved remuneration, conditions, recognition, and systemic support for principal class employees. The APF remains firmly focused on advancing outcomes that reflect the complexity, accountability and leadership demands of the principalship.

We are committed to representing the best interests of our members throughout the bargaining process and will continue to keep you informed as key developments emerge.

While there is no further substantive update to share at this stage, please be assured that the APF has been active, strategic and persistent in its engagement with the Department. Negotiations are ongoing, discussions are constructive, and we remain steadfast in ensuring the voice of principals is clearly heard at the bargaining table.
