CHESS FOR SCHOOLS
Delivered by Chess for Schools, our engaging program helps students develop critical thinking, focus, and resilience—all while having fun!
Each session includes a short, structured lesson followed by friendly tournament-style games. Classes cater to all skill levels and are open to students from Grade 1 to Grade 6. Prizes are awarded at the end of each term.
Chess builds not only brains, but also confidence and sportsmanship.
DANCE AVENUE
Does your child love to dance?
At Moonee Ponds West Primary School, we’re proud to offer a vibrant and engaging Dance Program facilitated by Dance Avenue.
Dance classes are held in the school gym during lunchtime and are open to students of all age groups. Each session includes a high energy warm-up with cardio and stretching, followed by learning new skills and choreography. Students work on a new routine each term!
Parents are invited to attend both a mid-year and end-of-year performance, where students
can showcase what they’ve learned.

FOOTBALL STAR ACADEMY

SOUNDGARAGE
SOUNDGARAGE 2026 REGISTRATIONS OPEN
Soundgarage offers lessons to Grades 1- 6 during class time on Singing, keyboard and Ukulele. Lessons cost $220 per instrument per Term and fees are paid via quarterly invoices. Lessons are a lot of fun, with students playing songs that they listen to and love!
