Craft Sand Product Recall – Important Update

You may have heard about the recent safety alert regarding some craft sand products that have been found to contain asbestos. For the most up-to-date information, including the list of affected products, please refer to the ACCC website.

At our school, we are following all Department of Education guidelines to identify, collect and safely dispose of any craft sand products that fall under this recall. Health authorities at both the national and state level advise that the risk to human health from these products is considered low.

New fortnightly focus

Our new fortnightly focus links to our school value of TEAM WORK, with an emphasis on how we act responsibly in outdoor spaces and when agreeing to the game rules. 

As always, students who consistently demonstrate our school values will be acknowledged through Champion Chips.

Sunsmart 

With four weeks left in the term, it’s been great to see so many students already wearing their hats during outdoor play. Just a reminder that hats are compulsory throughout Term Four to ensure all students stay sun safe. Thank you for supporting our SunSmart practices and helping keep everyone protected while enjoying the sunshine.
