Tess Haddock
Hello everyone,
I trust you've all had a fantastic start to the term. The weather has been unpredictable for sports this week, but our students have shown resilience, embodying the three core values of our sports lessons: Kindness, Positivity, and Giving It A Go. In each session, we emphasize these values, and I'll continue to reinforce them to the fantastic students at St Brendan’s throughout the year. I am thrilled about the prospect of an excellent year in sports.
Below, you'll find some updates on sports for the term.
Best regards,
Tess

St Brendan’s Athletics Day Year 3 - 6
This year we will be running a St. Brendan’s Athletics Day on Thursday 7th March between 9:00am and 12:50pm. This will be a house event and will allow all of our students to participate in track and field events. It will also allow me the opportunity to select an Athletics Team to represent St Brendan's at the Bayside District Athletics Carnival on Friday 22nd March. Students will be practising all Athletics events during Physical Education lessons.
If you are available and would like to help run an event I would love the support and have lots and lots of jobs. Please give me a call, email or come and have a chat (Tuesday’s, Wednesday’s or Thursday’s) and I can write your name down. Thanks so much!
Please note that students from F-2 will have their own Athletics Day later on in the year with the Parish Schools - St Mary's Hastings and St Joseph's Crib Point.
