Parent Teacher Interviews 

The last day of term Thursday the 2nd April is scheduled for Parent Teacher Interviews, with the format being a combination of face-to-face and phone interviews. 

Progress Reports were emailed home yesterday, and parents have been given the opportunity to book an interview time.  This is an opportunity for parents/carers to discuss their child’s progress to date, including positive aspects and areas for improvement. On the day of the interview, your child is expected to attend with you. 

Here is the process as previously emailed:

• Face-to-face interviews will take place in the Gymnasium.

• Phone Interviews – staff will contact the parent/guardian at the booked time.

   

• 10.00am – 11.40am        Face-to-Face Interviews as booked (5-minute interviews, 1-minute changeover).

   

• 11.40am - 12.10pm        Lunch. 

   

• 12.10pm – 1.40pm         Face to Face Interviews as booked (5-minute interviews, 1-minute changeover).

   

• 1.40pm – 2.00pm             Teacher break

   

• 2.00pm - 3.10pm              Phone Interviews as booked (5-minute interviews, 2-minute changeover).

Student Arrangements

• We expect students to attend the face-to-face interviews with their parent/carer.

• Once a student’s interviews are complete, they are eligible to leave the College following the standard leave processes.

• Students who do not have interviews are eligible to go on leave from 10.00 am onward, following the standard process. Boarding students use REACH as normal. 

• Day Students leaving early must provide written permission (email or note) with specific details of their departure and travel arrangements, by no later than 8.00 am Thursday, 1st April. 

• Students who do not have interviews and remain at the College until the close of the day (2.25 pm) will be supervised at the College.

Year 12 Student Declaration and Permission

As per last week's newsletter, the Year 12 students are required to complete a Student Declaration and Permission Online. This is from the School Curriculum and Standards Authority and is necessary for students to access the student portal, their results, WACE Certificate, and achievement at the end of the year. 

Attached is a Parent Information Sheet regarding the process. Students will be provided with details and instructions for completing the Student Declaration and Permission online.
