Have a go. Challenge yourself. Celebrate science.

Year 8/9 Art students completed their works using the process of intaglio printing, which required students to use a printing press. Students used collage to develop a made up creature and focused on depicting texture with line and tone. Pictured is Ashling B, with her 'Potato Rat with a Cowboy Hat'!
Year 9 Outdoor Education students practiced cooking on trangias in preparation for their camp later in the year. Students got to select their own meal to cook, and choices included pasta, bacon and eggs, and steak and veg!
We had two teams compete in the Black Ranges Intermediate/Senior Volleyball. Both teams had a great day of competition, each winning a few sets and games and representing our College with pride!

Last week we celebrated Harmony Week! Students and staff wore clothing from their cultural background.
Mr Raven prepared a variety of Indian snacks, and Year 8 student, Sharon T, did some beautiful Henna art. It was a wonderful celebration of the diversity that makes our College community strong.

What a wonderful day it was at our annual House Athletics Carnival today! We are proud to offer sporting opportunities that encourage participation and College spirit amongst our students. Many students will now have the opportunity to compete in the next level at the Black Ranges carnival in Term 2.
Congratulations to our Age Champions: Daniel B, Stephanie P, Kaden T, Sophie M, Luke W, Trinity W, Christopher B, Maddison D, Jonty B, Hannah P, James B, and Mia Rees!
Congratulations to Clontarf for winning the Athletics House Shield, with Kildare finishing second and Melleray finishing third.
