Chief Exam Supervisor

Our long standing Chief Exam Supervisor, Cathy Gunn, has decided that she would prefer to not continue in this role this year. The Chief Exam Supervisor oversees the preparation for, and running of, the GAT (16th June) and the VCAA External Exams, held from the end of October and through most of November each year.

If you are interested in this role, please contact Principal Simone Roy, or Senior School Coordinator Colleen Adams at school for more information.

If you are not interested in managing the exams, but would like to be an invigilator (exam supervisor), please also get in touch. Please note: a Working With Children Check (for employees) is mandatory for these roles and referee checks will take place.

End of Term 1

I am always a bit surprised at just how fast a term goes! 10 weeks have gone very quickly, with lots of learning, growth and laughter along the way.

Always a lovely opportunity to talk with our families, the Term 1 conferences were held on Tuesday this week, and it was great to see so many families and students attending to discuss their progress over so far.

We had 45 families out of a total of 112 in attendance with a total of 174 appointments booked. If you weren’t able to make the evening and want to talk to your child’s teachers, please send an email and they will respond when they can, early next term.

With some cooler mornings, students are starting to look to wearing an extra layer in the morning. Please make sure you have organised the correct uniform for your child for the start of Term 2. Remember to also drop in to school to see what pre-loved uniform items we have available, free to good homes.

The House Cross Country run was held in period 5, a lovely way to end the term, with students getting out into the fresh air and sunshine, in our beautiful environment. Thanks to Vicky Levesque for organising the event and to the staff for helping it run smoothly. I’d like to also thank Michal Trnka and his team from Alpine Timing, for again volunteering to time the event officially, an experience that many of our students don’t often get to experience.

Term 1 Holidays

Students finished at 2.30pm today, Thursday 2nd April, with Good Friday making it a short week. I hope everyone has a restful break and enjoys some time with family and friends over the Easter holiday period.

Term 2 resumes on Monday 20th April with classes starting promptly at 9am. I look forward to seeing everyone back here for another fantastic term.
