Andy’s Before and After School Care in 2026
We’re pleased to share an update on our much-loved Andy’s Before and After School Care program here at St Columba’s.
As you may know, MACSEYE – a subsidiary of Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) established to provide early childhood education and school-aged care programs – will in the coming years assume governance and management of before- and after-school care services across the Archdiocese.
For our school community, this means no change for 2026. It’s business as usual for Andy and her wonderful team, who will continue to provide the warm, engaging and reliable care our families know so well.
Andy has been running the program for more than a decade, creating a safe and welcoming space where children can play, learn and connect before and after their school day. The program’s staff are an important part of our school community, not only providing high-quality care, but also supporting learning and wellbeing in our classrooms.
We’re incredibly grateful for the commitment Andy and her team bring to their work each day. When we have further information from MACSEYE about the eventual transition, we’ll ensure Andy, her staff and families have plenty of notice and are kept fully informed every step of the way.
