Chaos Mountain - call for Auditions and Production Assistance

Free Piano Hire over the Christmas Holidays

"Hendry Pianos" and "Pianos Recycled" have partnered in a joint initiative to offer pianos for hire free of charge to school students over the end of year holidays (3 months). The only cost incurred will be delivery and tuning.

This is an external opportunity - please see attached flyer for details. The school has dealt with "Pianos Recycled" before (our outdoor piano was donated to us from them) so this is not a completely random advertisement.

Community Event - Gathering of the Gamelans

Eight of Melbourne's Indonesian community music ensembles are coming together to put on an all-day musical showcase. There will be three rooms at the venue hosting different groups and each ensemble will perform two to three times over the course of the day. This is a family friendly event: free entry, no booking required, wander in and wander out at your leisure.

It is highly recommended that Y4 students and members of the afterschool Gamelan ensemble at school attend this event to complement their learning. Any questions regarding the event may be directed to Mr. Rohan Iyer (rohan.iyer@education.vic.gov.au).
