OPEN NIGHT HIGHLIGHTS

What a fantastic evening we had at Open Night! The school buzzed with excitement as families came together to enjoy a fun and engaging night. A standout was our international adventure, families loved “flying around the world” and exploring hands on activities across the continents, thoughtfully prepared by our amazing staff.

The sausage sizzle was a crowd favourite, featuring delicious food cooked by Mrs Fisher, Mrs Hartley, Mrs Pickering, Mrs Zhang, and Mrs McKenzie. Their efforts were generously supported by Deb from TheirCare, who donated the sausages and drinks. A big thank you to Josh T and Kai H (Year 6) for helping out and collecting money at the BBQ.

We also welcomed prospective families on guided tours, who spoke highly of our warm, welcoming community and vibrant learning environment. Thank you to Luca (School Captain), Juliette and Beau (Vice Captains) for proudly leading the way.

The night ended on a high with stunning performances by Tara (Year 6) on piano, Aria (Year 3) on cello, and our POPS Choir, confidently led by Year 6 students Marx, Mia, Alicia, andJuliette.

A huge thank you to our staff for creating such an engaging and welcoming experience. It was a wonderful celebration of our school and community!

DISTRICT CROSS COUNTRY

Congratulations to our amazing POPS students for their fantastic efforts at the District Cross Country! Their teamwork and determination helped us achieve 3rd place overall, a wonderful result.

All students represented our school with pride, showing great sportsmanship and perseverance. Well done to everyone who gave their best and to those progressing to the next stage.

Thank you to Mrs Carbone for organising our team, and to the staff and parents who supported on the day. Your help made it a great success! To read more about District Cross Country go to the Sports News page.

WALK TO SCHOOL

Walk to School Day

We’re looking forward to our Walk to School event tomorrow morning! Walking to school is important for promoting healthy habits, reducing traffic, and building a strong sense of community.

We hope to see many families meeting at one of the 3 D’s—Domeney, Drayton, or Dalry—at 8:30am to walk together.

Thank you to Mr Moore and Mrs Heard for coordinating the event, and a special shoutout to Georgia H (6I) for writing a persuasive letter to Aumanns, Warrandyte requesting a fruit donation for families to enjoy on arrival. We are grateful to Aumanns for donating so many beautiful apples and oranges. Well done, Georgia! Please read Georgia's persuasive letter below.

SISTER SCHOOL VISIT
