OPEN DAY TOMORROW
Tomorrow, we open our doors to our families and community to showcase our wonderful school, fabulous students, and amazing & dedicated staff. If you are free, we would love to see you.
The morning starts with assembly in our Specialist Building from 9:10 - 9:40am. After assembly our Grade 6 leaders will be taking small groups for a tour around all the classrooms, as well as highlighting our wonderful outdoor facilities. Our morning will finish with morning tea outside, weather permitting 😀

Do you have a child that will be starting school at Team Westbreen next year?
Enrolments for 2027 are now open and enrolments forms are available from the school office or by emailing Miss Kerry at kerry.parfett@education.vic.gov.au
If you have any queries regarding enrolling your child please don't hesitate to contact Miss Kerry via the above email, by calling on 03 9306 9481, or just chat to her if you see her in the yard.
Family Time this week...
This week at Family Time, we’ll be making balloon animals 🐷🐶🐱
No twisting required, just balloons, some coloured paper and a healthy sprinkling of imagination. You can choose to make any animal. Once you’re done, you can throw them up in the air and watch them land on their feet! How, you ask? Well, we’ll teach you a trick to make them land on their feet 😉 So you’ll have to come or you’ll miss out on the secret 🤫
See you all this Thursday in the Specialist Building at 3.15 - 4:15pm.
A couple of friendly reminders:
- an adult must accompany AND supervise their child, or children, during the Family Time session,
- if your child needs a snack after finishing school, please eat it BEFORE joining us in the Specialist Building.
Last week's scavenger hunt was so much fun. We had children running all around the school trying to find the gold star clues to solve the mystery phrase, which was big brain energy 😀 Thank you to all that came and enjoyed the fun.

Westbreen's Community Playgroup is back 🌈👣
A big thank you to Rhoda Khaled, mum of Ahmed, Tannah & Amira, for taking on the role of coordinating Westbreen’s Community Playgroup for 2026. Rhoda has lots of fun activities planned for Playgroup going forward.
Westbreen’s Playgroup is now held every Tuesday from 9am to 10:30am in our school hall. All visitors are required to sign in via the school office before making their way to playgroup.You do not need to be an existing member of the Westbreen community to attend — our playgroup is open to all families with children aged 0–5 years.
