Beauty And The Beast

On the 28th-30th of August, we held our 2025 production of Beauty and the Beast at the PAC. We had an amazing turn out with over 500 people across the 3 nights, being the biggest show we’ve had since covid. After many months, we were able to see all our hard work be put into place for the show.

Our rehearsals consisted of many after schools and weekends which was very beneficial for the cast to learn what they had to do. We had over 20 people in this year’s cast and rehearsals took a lot of patience from everyone and working collectively as a team to make sure we got it right.

For some people it was their first productions, while for others it may have been their last. Every single person, no matter how big or small their role was, gave their best efforts and should be proud of everything they achieved. Without the cast, we wouldn’t have a show.

Our audiences were amazing across the 3 shows. They laughed at all our jokes and applauded once we had finished a song. This helped majorly with stage confidence as we knew that the audience enjoyed what they were watching. The backstage crew were a massive help in making sure we had all our sets and props were in the correct spot at the right time.

The show wouldn’t have been possible without the help of Mrs Haller, who was out director and ensured we knew exactly what we had to do, Mr Hayes who helped with our lines and singing, Mr Hunter for his stage designs and work behind the scenes, Mrs Philips and Miss Hiscock for helping the cast with their hair and makeup backstage, Rodger for assisting in flying in the sets, and the PAC staff for letting us use the stage.
