Acting Principals Report

Dear Students,

As we reach the end of another busy term, it’s a good time to reflect on our school motto: "In Knowledge, There Is Opportunity". These words remind us that every lesson, challenge, and success adds to the opportunities ahead of us. Knowledge isn’t just about what you learn in class—it’s about building confidence, gaining new skills, and discovering doors you may not have known were there.

Learning often feels like hard work, but it’s worth it. Every piece of effort you put in now—whether it’s mastering a subject, developing your teamwork, or asking a brave question, creates more chances for your future. The opportunities may not appear right away, but they are being built each day through your persistence and curiosity.

On behalf of our school community, we sincerely thank our team of education support staff and teachers who ensure all students have access to quality learning opportunities inside and beyond the classroom. We acknowledge and celebrate the extra opportunities that couldn't be possible without the dedication of staff - music concerts, school productions, camps, visiting incursions, sporting events, community service, guest speakers, excursions. Our staff genuinely want to offer students the best opportunities possible to ignite passion for lifelong learning.

As we head into the holidays, I hope you all take time to rest, recharge, and enjoy time with family and friends. To our Year 12 students, we especially wish you well as you enter your study break and prepare for the important months ahead. Your dedication now will help turn knowledge into opportunity in ways that will carry you far beyond school.

Thank you all for your energy and involvement this term.

Enjoy the break—you’ve earned it!
