P–2 Students Enjoy a Fantastic Athletics Day

On Friday 9 October, our Prep to Grade 2 students took part in a fantastic Athletics Day at Golden Square Primary School, enjoying a morning filled with fun, participation and achievement.
Students enthusiastically rotated through a variety of athletic activities and events, demonstrating wonderful effort, perseverance and enthusiasm as they challenged themselves and celebrated their successes. Whether running, jumping or throwing, every student embraced the opportunity to learn new skills, challenge themselves and give their very best.
One of the highlights of the day was the incredible support from our families and community members. It was wonderful to see so many parents, grandparents and special friends cheering from the sidelines, creating a positive and encouraging atmosphere for all students. Their enthusiasm helped make the day a memorable experience and highlighted the strong sense of community that exists at Golden Square Primary School.
A special mention must also go to our Grade 6 House Captains, who did an incredible job leading activities, supporting younger students and helping the day run smoothly. They demonstrated outstanding leadership, patience and encouragement, serving as excellent role models for our younger students and proudly representing our school values throughout the event.
Throughout the morning, students demonstrated our values of Safety, Respect and Learning by listening carefully to instructions, encouraging their classmates, celebrating each other's achievements and showing respect towards staff, volunteers and visitors. Most importantly, every student had a go and approached each activity with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
We congratulate all of our young athletes and thank our families, special guests and Grade 6 House Captains for helping make the day such a wonderful success. It was a fantastic celebration of participation, achievement, leadership and community spirit.
