Principalship for Heidi Senior (nee Gregg)

Congratulations to Mrs Heidi Senior on her recent appointment to the position of Principal of St Mary’s College Adelaide, a Catholic School in the Dominican tradition, providing education from Reception to Year 12 Girls, commencing in 2025.

Heidi is the daughter of Robert Gregg (SVC 1957-67 and SVC staff 1978-94) and Lyn Gregg (SVC staff 1979-87).

Heidi was on staff at the Austins Ferry campus (2000-2014) as Director of Teaching and Learning, and before that as Year 7 Leader and Head of Science. 

She has also held the role of Director Learning and Teaching at Guildford Young College in Hobart. In addition, Heidi has represented Tasmanian Catholic education in the Curriculum Director’s Group for ACARA (Australian Curriculum Assessment and Reporting Authority), as well as contributing to numerous other state and national education advisory groups and working parties.

On leaving GYC, she took up the position of Manager of Curriculum and Pedagogy for the Tasmanian Catholic Education Office. She served as Deputy Principal and, at times, Acting Principal of St Virgil’s College 2020-22. From there, she moved to Melbourne and took up the position of Director of Professional Practice and Partnerships with EREA (Edmund Rice Education Australia).
