What we've been up to

World Teacher's Day

This Friday is World Teacher's Day, A Huge Thankyou to all our amazing Teachers. Enjoy celebrating the kind, caring and compassionate people that you are and the amazing journey that you take your students on each day.

Welcome to our New Staff

Please welcome two new staff members to our school

Richelle

Hey there! I'm Richelle, a quirky and bubbly soul with a passion for making a difference in the disability sector. With 4 years of experience, I'm dedicated to bringing positivity and change every single day! When I'm not working, you can find me on the volleyball court, spending quality time with my partner, or enjoying playful moments with my fur baby.

Jesse

North Rockhampton Special School, my name is Jesse McMaster I have currently been working in the early Childhood industry for 16 years. I have been with my partner for four years and lived in Rockhampton for three years. I have 2 dogs named Koda and Mulan; 2 cats named Anna & Elsa. My passion for working with children has been a long time in creating memories and building connections with all the families. Am looking forward to this new adventure that I am beginning at this wonderful school community.

AFL

We are excited to share that our secondary students have had the wonderful opportunity to collaborate with Scott Smithwick, the Development Lead from AFL Queensland. Over the past few weeks, Scott has been leading engaging AFL skills and drills during our physical education lessons. This experience has not only enhanced our students' understanding of the game but has also allowed them to learn directly from a professional in the field. Our students have expressed their enthusiasm and enjoyment in working with Scott, and we are grateful for the chance to develop their skills in such a dynamic and supportive environment. We look forward to seeing how they apply what they've learned both on and off the field!

Feel Good Promotions

Last 2 Weeks until the end of this promotion.

Our school is supporting this worthy organisation if any families want to help by donating non-perishable food items, health care items etc we would be very grateful.
