What a busy couple of weeks in the Yellow-Tails room!
Congratulations to Darcy and Zayli on their efforts at the Warrnambool cross country where they competed against other students from around the district. We are incredibly proud of your efforts!
Monday was National Sorry Day. We discussed what this day was about and then wrote a perspective piece about the Stolen Generation. We used emotive language to engage our audience. The children were really engaged in this topic and the quality of work that we saw was next level.
This week, the Trinity Band came to perform for us and teach us about the different instruments that their students can choose to learn. Ava has added 'conductor' to her resume, as she stood in front of the band and commanded them to play loud and soft. Well done Ava!
Good luck to all our 5/6 students that have chosen to participate in the football and netball lightening premierships today!
Congratulations to our Students of the Week!
19/05/25 - Eleesiah - for taking responsibility for her leaning during the recent writing moderation task on the topic of 'Stuck'. Keep up the great work, Eleesiah!
26/05/25 - Nellie - for giving up her time to organize our wonderful new School Assembly Power Point. Amazing job, Nellie!
